HONEST REVIEW: Good Virtues Co. Shampoo, Conditioner, and Serum

So I have been using these products for almost 2 months now 👇👇👇

Total price: around RM 39 including postage! (That's right I bought it online via "Shopee" app)

1. Happy & Heavenly: Anti-Dandruff Care Shampoo Nourishing Hair Fall Protection

• Colour: White
• Consistency: A bit runny
• Smell: Intermediate soothing smell, no strong smell or anything.
• P.S. This shampoo doesn't really bubble up, as it is free from SLES. It's totally fine because that has nothing to do with the shampoo being good or bad.
2. Helpful & Delightful: Anti-Dandruff Care Conditioner Nourishing Hair Fall Protection

• Colour: White
• Consistency: Thick and smooth
• Smell: Intermediate soothing smell, no strong smell or anything.
3. Helpful & Delightful: Multiple Repair Hair Serum

• Colour: Colourless
• Consistency: Oily
• Smell: My first impression was "WHAT IS THIS HEAVENLY SMELL WHY DOES IT SMELL SO GOOD OHMYGOD MUST. APPLY. MOREEEE!!!!" (yeah hope that answers the question)

Before jumping into my review and all, can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that all GVC products are free from Mineral Oil, SLES, ALES, Parabens, synthetic colourants, and are CRUELTY-FREE???!!! 💞 They only use 100% non-animal derived ingredients in their products. Knowing this definitely makes me feel guilt-free for using these products because to me, animal lives are just as important as ours and it's really unethical to simply use them as test subjects. Not only that, they are also infused with the purifying goodness of Organic Habbatus Sauda Oil (Organic Black Seed Oil) which is known for its rich, natural nutrients, minerals, as well as antioxidants that repair, restore, and rejuvenate.

My Honest Review:

First of all, my scalp is rather weird, because it tends to get oily very fast but for some reason, it is prone to dandruff and flakes too. And don't even get me started on hairfall and split ends and dry ends et cetera. Point is: One small mistake and I'll be making "white Christmas" wherever I go and leaving traces of hair and dandruff here and there. CRINGE! 😰 

I change my hair products from time-to-time. Most of them will leave me feeling devastated except for Sunsilk and CLEAR. And now... I found another one that suits me just enough, which is... GVC!!! Yeayyyy... More detailed review as follows (I'll keep this short and simple):

Dandruff and Flakes:

In terms of dandruff, I notice that the appearance of dandruff is visibly reduced now. Before, even the slightest movement of my head can cause dandruff to fall on my shoulder and thus WHIIIIIIIIITE CHRISTMAAAASSSSSS~~ it was very embarrassing for me to wear black and other dark-coloured shirts.  Just 2-3 times after using the shampoo, I no longer have to worry about this. It did not make the dandruff and flakes go away completely, but it did a good job in keeping them at bay.

Hairfall:

There were times when I almost accepted that maybe I was dying of a terminal disease due to my hair were falling out so soooo bad. Shortly after I started using this product, my hair is still falling out but not as bad. The reduced amount of hairfall is clearly noticeable to me. However, I can't say whether this is contributed by the products or it's just simply because I cut my hair. Yeah, I cut my hair from below breast length to a slightly below collarbone length.

Split ends and Dry ends:

Since I cut my hair, of course there are no split ends for now so I won't be able to give any review on this. Nevertheless, unlike most shampoo I tried before, I don't experience any dry ends from using these products. Just make sure to follow up with the conditioner and the hair serum afterwards! 

Odour:

All GVC hair products have a pleasant floral/ sweet smell. However, this smell doesn't last long. Not a problem for me because I'm addicted to the scent of the hair serum, so I keep on re-applying as often as possible. Why? BECAUSE I CAN MUHAHAHAHAHAHHHH!!! Ok shut up Qila. Anyway, they didn't leave any stinky smell that'll make you question your existence in this world.

In conclusion, I totally recommend this to whoever's out there who'd want to have a decent hair product but do not want to spend too much on it. This is also suitable for anyone with sensitive skin and scalp like yours truly heheh. I don't think of it as the holy grail of hair products, but for its price, I can surely say that it serves its purpose. Okay that's all from me today. Until next time! 💜
